The close up of the glasses on the floor imply that they are important and contribute significantly to the plot of the extract. The purple colour that moves over the girls eyes as she puts on the glasses clearly indicates that the glasses have changed her mentally and overtaken her. Purple connotes mystery adding suspense to the extract. As the villain stalks the other two girls she is stood by a sign that says friends like these, this juxtaposes the villains evil habits and those of friends. The masked figure who controls the glasses is in a room lit with red, this connotes danger and violence which instantly shows the audience that they are not to be trusted. The mask also creates the enigma code for the audience of who is behind the mask. Just as the main charactar picks up the glasses there is a close up shot of the glasses on the ground creating an action code. The glasses are clearly a catalyst to the plot. The background music starts slow to build tension and quickly increases in pace to add to the dramatic visceral feeling that the audience feels from watching this extract. 

Wanted

The opening shot of the man surrounded by candles instantly creates the impression that the man is connected with the supernatural, the dimly lit lighting in which only his face is visible also highlights the mans significance to the plot. The dim lighting may also signify how the man is hiding something. The man is dressed in all black and wearing a cape, this clearly connotes that the man is interwined with the supernatural and presents him in a wizard like manor. As he is being chased his cape flows through the wind mimicking the enchantment of a spell. The other character is a young girl which are stereotypically innocent so the audience instantly feels bad for her. The sound is also slow paced to begin with the build tension but then quickly speeds up durring the chase to compliment the action.
